A Misguided View of the Role of (Federal) Government

Casting about for innovative job-creation ideas, President Barack Obama is naming one of his critics to an advisory council responsible for finding new ways to promote economic growth and bring jobs to the U.S.
Yeah right. As if Ben Franklin, John Adams, James Madison and the other founders, and the people got together, had a revolution and then crafted the Constitution because they thought the function of a Federal Government was to " ....promote economic growth and bring jobs to the U.S."
Sorry to break it to you, but the role of the Federal government does NOT include these items - regardless of what Hamilton may have thought.

Patriot Act Non-Renewal
