Some of my loyal followers have wondered why I have not posted anything in a while. The answer is that quite frankly I am worn out from all the previous posting. I had thought that Mr Obama and his posse would read a few installments of my diatribes and fulminations and on that decide that it would really be best if they changed their course of action.
Alas, all this was to no avail. They and their ilk persist in their run to destruction.
Couple this with the fact that I was asked by a group of businessmen to come address their group because they had "panties in a wad" concerns about the recent Health Care bill. Considering that I do not work for free, and wanting to test whether they wanted substance, or just some free finger-painting directed against Obama, as opposed to a wake-up call to the creeping cancer of government of which Obama is simply a symptom, I indicated that it would take an advance payment of $700 bucks, plus the condition that the floor would be mine, and the condition that the presentation would be a no holds barred, "No Apologies Tour" with equal opportunity of scorn heaped upon them, for thinking that a Republican administration would fare them any better than a Democratic one, as well as scorn on the liberals for thinking that Obama was going to save the planet.
The businessman's group failing the screening test, I was informed that although the information was good and that they needed to hear it, that the venue was "not the right one". Whew ... that saved me a lot of headache. In my earlier day, I would have created the entire presentation before finding out whether I would be on the schedule or not. In this instance, I did not think about it at all.

CO2 Silliness
Was sent this link concerning The Amazing Story Behind the Global Warming Scam
As for Climate Change - I am an engineer and my brethren and I have been designing for climate change ever since that first engineer whacked off that saber-tooth tiger and made himself a coat. Next came the cave, and after that came homes with heating and air conditioning ...and raincoats. All designed to handle "Climate Change".
A side note - As an engineer I am appalled that an entire cadre of those that are trained in the solidness of math and science and the rejection of false prophets, have fallen for this hoax.
The only way I can explain it is that there is too much money in the promulgation of the hoax and that it represents a way for for the "Climate Normalcy Deniers" to redistribute wealth into their pockets at the expense of others. Thus it is that we have for example the American Society of Civil Engineers, despite the outcry of those of us willing to stand above the pack, issuing stupidly conceived and irrational letters of support for Climate Change initiatives .... initiatives that will result in creation of work projects for them. But hey who cares, in 1939 there was money to be made building boxcars. (For my younger readers that have been educated in the post 1980's modern school 1939 refers to the Nazi industrialists that build the boxcars for the transport of the Jews to the ovens.)

Fingerpainting
Consumers spent more on costly "durable" manufactured goods — such as cars and appliances. Such spending rose 2.1 percent. [Emphasis added] They also boosted spending last month on "nondurables," including food and clothes, and on services...
~ Reuters
It is specious to talk about how much more $ people are spending and using that as reason to try and say that people are actually purchasing more actual goods.
Do you not know that there has been a decline in the amount of goods that a dollar will purchase, i.e., inflation. For example, take a look at the price of that candy bar that you are eating right now. If you paid 80 cents a year ago, but you paid 82 cents today, based on the above kind of pseudo-analysis by this newspaper writer who is toeing the company line, they would say that YOUR consumer spending has risen 2.1% and use that to support the Obama bandwagon fantasy that you have bought 2.1% more candy bars than you did last year.
What falsehood and finger-painting there is going on nowadays. And they want us all to celebrate???

US to Defeat Iran ...with Light Bulbs (aka Fiddling While Rome Burns)
We live in an age of insanity. Here we have the President of the US -- when North Korea is exporting nuclear technology and Iran is developing it, when Chavez is threatening to intervene in an explosive Honduran coup, when the economy is teetering (we are told) -- the President of the US is telling us what kind of light bulbs to buy! He says we are going to save 4 billion dollars a year. Right. And inflating our automobile tires will do away with the need to drill for more oil. Can there be anything more pathetic? Or dangerous?
Can't Obama turn his attention to grown-up matters? Our president reminds me of nothing more than an infantile fingerpainter who has no sense either of sound judgment or awareness of consequence, but lives in a world of imagination untested by reality. No, I mistake. His utopia has been tested by reality time and time again, but like a babe in diapers, he has no experience with it -- or is criminally negligent in denying it.
